Corry hosted Edgewood Monday night for their last non region game of the season. The Beavers fell behind early in quarter one, finding themselves down 5-9. Corry fought back in the 2nd to get within one to head into halftime down 19-20.
In the third, Corry gave up 16 while only managing 11 pts of their own to go down 30-36. The Lady Beavers continued to battle but were unable to complete the comeback, falling to Edgewood 41-48.
Leading the way for Corry was Halle Albers with 16 pts-1 assist followed by Kaygen Rogers with 8 pts-1 assist, Haley Mumau with 6 pts-2 assists, Rylee Nickerson with 5 pts-4 assists, Regan Kemp with 4 pts-1 assist, Grace Allen with 2 pts-3 assists, and Sadye Dyne with 2 assists.
Nickerson led us on the boards with 10 rebounds followed by Allen with 7 rebounds-1 steal, Rogers with 6 rebounds, Mumau with 5 rebounds-2 steals, Albers with 3 rebounds-1 steal, and Dyne with 2 rebounds.
The Beavers finish off the regular season Thursday against Harbor Creek.
